So, here's the gist. I want to do a giveaway to celebrate my 1st Etsy anniversary. Although I launched my website a month or so before that, I figured since I actually know my Etsy open date, I should probably go with that one. :) My giveaway is going to be for a 4 ounce superfine merino braid of "Kynareth," a new handpainted colorway which is set to release in March 2012. Now, I know that not all of you are spinners/felters, so in that case, I have a backup plan. I also am working on a new colorway which will be available only for yarn, but I'm not sure which yarn base I want to feature it on. I'll probably offer that as a Kick-Off for my second year of being an indie dyer.

So, Kynareth. I named the new colorway after a deity in the game Skyrim (if you haven't played it yet, go out and buy it! Check it out here: The Elderscrolls V, Skyrim). There are some lovely spring colors in this braid, which is perfect to mark the beginning of spring--which is usually March 21.

I have a goal to get to 200 likes on Facebook and 50 followers on Twitter by April 1, 2012. That's a tough goal right now, but when I get to 200 likes, I'll offer an even BIGGER giveaway! Sound delightful? You bet! :D

Okay, so that about covers the details of the giveaway and how to get tickets. I'll use a random number generator to get the winning ticket and take a screenshot so that everyone can confirm that there was no hanky-panky. The giveaway winner will be announced on February 24, 2012. No more tickets will be offered at the close of February 23, 2012 at 11:59pm CST.
